Within the framework of the National Civil Aviation Infrastructure Exhibition NAIS-2023, the certificate of conformity of the maintenance organization Global Jet Technic, operating in the United Arab Emirates was presented. On 8 February 2023 Rosaviatsiya handed over the relevant document to the management of the maintenance provider, the press service of the ministry said.
The form and procedure for issuing the document confirms the compliance of legal entities, individual entrepreneurs performing maintenance of civil aircrafts, with the requirements of federal aviation regulations, the Rosaviatsiya said.
This document gives the right to carry out MRO of Boeing 737, Airbus 318/319/320/321 and Airbus 330 aircrafts of Russian airlines, among which S7, Nordwind and AZUR Air are already GJT clients.
Global Jet Technic is one of the leading providers of maintenance solutions for Boeing and Airbus aircraft in the Gulf region. The company is EASA Part 145 certified. It is approved by the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Egypt, India and Pakistan.
The provider provides services up to and including weekly inspections and, with proper planning, can perform maintenance during overnight stoppages of aircraft during normal commercial flights.
