The 10th National Civil Aviation Infrastructure Exhibition NAIS-2023 started in Moscow. Traditionally, the exhibition has become a platform for dialogue between manufacturers and operators of aviation equipment.
For the first time, Irkut takes part in the exhibition under the UAC Civil Aircraft brand, displaying not only the traditional products, such as MS-21 and SSSJ-New, but also Tu-214 and Il-114-300 aircraft, previously promoted by Tupolev and Ilyushin Aviation Complex.
Yuri Slyusar, Director General of UAC, announced that the Corporation will introduce to the market a cargo and shortened version of the Tu-214 aircraft. He specified that the shortened Tu-214 in a business version will be able to cover up to 9 thousand kilometers, and in a passenger version its range will be 7-8 thousand kilometers. This will ensure territorial connectivity through direct non-stop flights from the European part of the country to the destinations in the Far East.
At the UAC’s stand, participants and visitors can see the exposition, which includes interactive information panels on the MS-21, SSJ-New, Il-114-300 and Tu-214 aircraft.
